who we are
Zaya Wellness was founded in 2019 by Azande Mkhwanazi and reimagined in 2025 as a deeply intentional space for healing and holistic wellness. It began as a personal response to burnout and emotional stagnation — a moment in Azande’s life where she desperately needed restoration.
She chose the name Zaya, meaning Victorious Woman, as a prophetic state of mind she hoped to one day embody. Today, Zaya Wellness exists to offer others the same journey back to themselves. Every service we offer, movement, mindfulness, self care and community, each represents a piece of what helped Azande feel whole again. We are more than a studio. We are a story of becoming.
